It's quite disheartening when you are branded and tagged as belonging to a particular camp in politics each time you raise an issue. It's either you are for us or against us . To this I ask , why should this be the norm . Can't one freely make a comment or raise an issue of value when it concerns them. Sadly I don't see this phenomena ending any time soon .

Quite recently I suggested on a student page on Facebook that the office of the Student Representative Council (SRC )be closed . This I did on the basis of a legal dispute between the two feuding parties . 

Well ,I was shocked at the feedback I got . The critics claimed the issue I raised was trivial and that there are bigger issues at hand , which they said includes resolving the dispute between the litigants. However my question remained, "Isn't it appropriate to call for a closure of the office since there is no official business .
