I woke up this morning feeling very angry and sad . What's the reason for my emotions . ? It's something that annoys me .It will with you when we think the same . 

The cholera epidemic threatening to eat up the lives of Ghanaians is something I've been pondering about . Nobody should die of cholera in this country if we are willing to use our heads . Sometimes we deserve to be told the harsh realities of our action .

You see it's not easy to form a new attitude but for the mere fact that people are dying each and everyday for reasons we know puts me off . I don't know how many times Ghanaians have to be told , unsanitary environments breeds diseases , this is an ancient truth , keep clean and be safe from this avoidable diseases .

It's common to see people indiscriminately throwing rubbish anywhere . The worst times are during rainy seasons . Then I ask myself , when you do that who do you expect to get sick . 

Numerous campaigns have been launched by previous and current government about the need to keep our environment clean but it seems to me , the more vigorous the campaign , the worst our attitude towards the situation . It baffles me. Keeping rubbish in an organised place for easier management is not such a huge task but I don't understand why Ghanaians can't do it . 

Until we learn to keep our environment a clean, we have ourselves to blame for the prevailing cholera epidemic.
